James B. Duke Scholarship Application

The James B. Duke Scholarship is awarded to up to five students in each entering class.

Duke Scholars are chosen on the basis of these characteristics (listed alphabetically): academic achievement, concern for others, diverse talents and experiences, potential for impact, resiliency, and work ethic.

To be considered for the James B. Duke Scholarship, candidates must submit an essay in response to one of the two prompts offered below.
