THE EMERGING DAVIDSON CLASS OF 2023 EARLY DECISION -- The first members of the Class of 2023 have enrolled within our Early Decision rounds, and we look eagerly forward to the impact we know they will have on this community.
For those students who were deferred, we are reviewing their applications again in the Regular Decision round and encourage them to: share senior year updates with their admission counselor (both academic and extracurricular), continue to focus on a strong senior performance, and be sure their most recent grades reach us as soon as possible.
Regular admission decisions will be released at 9:00 P.M. EST on March 20. A Word on the Wait List Each year, Davidson is able to enroll students from its wait list. Wait listed students receive in their decision letter the link to use to indicate their interest in remaining on the Wait List. But please be sure your students know that clicking that link is not enough. Demonstrated interest matters. We strongly encourage them to be in touch with their regional admission counselors to share updates on their year, as well as updated grades. Here are the number of students enrolled from the wait list in the last three years. | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | Women | 21 | 15 | 18 | Men | 13 | 8 | 13 |
Davidson's financial resources have historically allowed the college to offer admitted wait list students aid packages consistent with those offered to students admitted at Regular Decision, via the Davidson Trust.
That means that 100% of calculated financial need is met in a package that includes grant and student employment funds only. Providing all aid application deadlines have been met, that aid package will not include loans. |
