your extra cost for the relevant category, only during the period of your enrollment for the academic year selected above;
supporting documentation that demonstrates your costs exceed the standard allowance for that category – in most cases you will provide copies of dated, itemized receipts; but appropriate documentation could also include a copy of your Davidson College billing statement showing your cost for a single room or health insurance, etc. (for each expense category, please aim to group supporting materials into a single PDF or Word document, if possible; however, an "Additional Documentation" option is provided below in case you do need to upload additional items); and

Please be aware that only under very limited circumstances will institutional funds be used to cover expenses beyond our usual Cost of Attendance. Typically, excess expenses will be covered instead by external funds (e.g., outside scholarships, loans, etc.). Below you can indicate the type(s) of resource you wish to use.

Federal Direct PLUS Loan (parent)

Please be sure your parent has completed or, if necessary, updated a Parent PLUS Loan Application (click on "Parent" tab; complete PLUS application and, if not previously submitted, MPN; no further action needed).

Private, Alternative Loan

Please contact the Financial Aid Office at financialaidoffice@davidson.edu to make appropriate arrangements.
