Federal Direct Loan Request for Student Borrowers Updated

    This application is to notify the Davidson College Financial Aid Office of a student's intent to borrow Federal Direct Loans. Please carefully read the following information and complete this form for our office to process this request. 

    Please note that our office will not process loan requests until June for the upcoming academic year. If submitted after June, processing time between our office and the Department of Education can take approximately two weeks. 

    Important    : Please complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Loan Entrance Counseling (EC) electronically before submitting this application to Davidson College.

    **If you have previously completed the MPN and EC , there is no need to submit them again.**

    • $5,500 - No more than $3,500 of this amount may be in subsidized loans.
    Second-Year Undergraduate Annual Loan Limit:
    • $6,500 - No more than $4,500 of this amount may be in subsidized loans.
