AGREEMENT WITH THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE

I understand that while participating in a Study Abroad program, I will continue to be responsible for paying Davidson College’s full home tuition, as well as any additional fees that may appear on my student account (including insurance, fines, club fees, etc.) Davidson will first apply my financial aid toward its home tuition. Any remaining aid may then be used to help cover the cost of my study abroad program and related travel expenses. I acknowledge that Davidson does not provide financial aid to cover programs that exceed the cost of a semester at Davidson; if the cost of my selected program is less than Davidson’s cost, my financial aid award will be adjusted accordingly.

I agree to notify the Davidson College Financial Aid Office immediately if I withdraw or reduce my course load below full-time status (typically four courses per semester) during my off-campus program. I will provide the Financial Aid Office with the exact date that my enrollment status changes. I understand that a change in my enrollment status may require repayment of all or part of the funds disbursed to me. I understand that my aid and scholarship eligibility will be based on the cost of my off-campus program and that aid will be a) reduced if the program’s cost is less than the cost at Davidson or b) based on Davidson’s cost if the program’s cost is more than the cost at Davidson.
